Golly, it scares me as my vet is an old fashioned one started by Eddie Straiton, the TV vet, in the 1940’s or 50’s. New young vets are coming into the practice who have no idea … referrals for everything, suggestions of expensive scans etc. Been taking my cat since 21st Dec for problems and been fobbed off by young vets, finally got to the head vet on Monday and he felt the cat all over and gave him meds for an infection. Cat is fine already. One young girl vet even mentioned once that she had been and googled the symptoms !
