hi what is the best food to feed a pregnant bitch from start to whelping time. i have heart that raw food is not good due to high calcium in the levels in the bone which can intefere with her parathyroid gland and her own natural function to make calcium, also puppy food contains high calcium levels , thank you

I think there is no need to switch from your current food providing you will increase the feeding as the pregnancy progresses (by 5%-10% over the week 5 to week 8).
As long as your dog is used to raw food, there should be no reason not to feed it whilst pregnant. I am sure there are studies out there pro and against feeding raw so it is ultimately up to you, but I would stick with what nature intented
