This is an interesting article. I fully understand and agree with the bio accumulation of chemicals but I don’t really understand how an obligate carnivore ie a cat will get the appropriate nutrients from a plant based diet without the additional vitamins, minerals and amino acids…and if these are synthetic are they not also a chemical which could also cause problems?
I also have to point out that dogs are also proven to be becoming less healthy because of current breeding practices. But then if people decide they aren’t breeding from their dog they have them neutered thus restricting the gene pool further and making it harder to cause the extinction of inherited conditions.
