Posting links and photographs

Previously members have not been able to include links within their posts. David will be changing this so that after three posts our members will be able to post links. We decided to use the three post threshold to deter potential spammers.

This means that members will also be able to show photographs that are hosted on other websites e.g. Photobucket, Flickr, Imgur etc. For those who are not aware of how this works, here is a quick description:

  • Upload your photograph to a hosting site as referred to above.
  • When the photo is uploaded, look for the IMG code (see graphic below).
  • Copy the code.
  • Go back to your post and paste this code into it.
  • Submit your post.
  • Done.

We are looking forward to seeing some lovely dog and cat pictures. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you want to submit a photograph but can’t quite get the hang of it. We will try to help.

That’s good news we get to see each others fur babies. The link I include most often on other forums is the link to this site ;D

Same here. I heard of this site many times and used it to rate my dog food also.
Love the use of photo’s…now when I read of a dog with a skin problem…we can see for ourselves what it might be and help each other with advise or just a friendly shoulder.
