A puppy would need to be at least 8 weeks old and this sounds like a non invasive way of helping to protect our dogs throughout their lives, to reunite them with us if we become separated.
If this proves to work, then I would prefer this to the procedure of inserting a microchip into a puppy, which is not always a painfree procedure and has the (albeit sporadic) possibility of moving away from the implant site. ???
