A new to the UK, dog food company Edgard & Cooper (Belgium) has been added to the Top Ethical Companies section of The Good Shopping Guide. I’m not sure if their dog food range is available to buy in the UK at this very moment If not, then according to the Pat Show link below it should be shortly.

A good spot Seaweed, I will look forward to seeing the ingredients when available.
Reps are touring the country now so availability will increase - I had some samples to try, dogs liked them - ingredients Fresh chicken (41%) Whole brown rice Whole oats Peas Whole barley Pea protein Chicken stock Chicken fat Minerals Salmon oil Free range chicken eggs Linseed Tomatoes (0,30%) Blueberries (0,20%) Organic chamomile (0,15%) Organic Rosemary (0,15%) Prébiotics Fos Prébiotics Mos - can’t pick fault with ingredients, ethics, packaging but the price placed it outside our market place
Pegasus, thanks for the information. It will be interesting to see how this range is priced.
Out of curiosity - what would you estimate the price to be based on the ingredients alone? I think they come in 7.5kg bag
If it’s priced out of your market then possibly around £35 plus.
I don’t think your far wrong! We sell a grain free, 50% meat food which retails at 60% of the price of Edgar and Cooper. I like the etchical stance and the packaging but if these are the USP then I would find it a hard sell at the price.
Houndsonline have Edgard and Cooper on their website. I would have liked to have seen the ingredients and weight listed, hopefully they will follow. I haven’t found it anywhere else online at present.

Thanks Meg, yes the packaging looks different and reminds me of “Beco”. Both have attractive packaging. Hopefully their UK website will be up and running with the full range and ingredients soon.

Thanks for the update Meg.
The Edgard & Cooper UK website is now up and running. https://www.edgardcooper.co.uk/
Meg, I also could not find any ingredients lists or typical analysis. I have contacted Edgard & Cooper regarding this and waiting a response
I’ve had a response from Edgard & Cooper, they have apologised for the delay and are working on putting the ingredients and typical analysis on their UK website. They replied in good time which is always a good sign.
The nutrition values have now been added to the Edgard & Cooper website. https://www.edgardcooper.co.uk/
Thank you for pointing those out Meg.
Hey Meg!
The Ingredients and analysis are now on all of our product pages - thanks for your patience while we’ve been setting up!
Please also bare in mind that the protein percentage displayed is after cooking, so without moisture. The percentage is much higher before cooking in each recipe.
Any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Thanks for that information Meg! The products should be listed on the website shortly.
All the best!
Rebecca
