Apologies if this has already been posted about, it came up at a health testing clinic for older dogs that I attended yesterday (for my old Labradors, not me ).
The AHT are running this project, which will give them vital data ‘in the bank’ to use when they are researching genetic conditions in dogs. At the moment, there are 75 breeds involved, and they will be looking to roll out a second phase next year.
It was a really interesting talk, if anyone has the chance to go along to a similar presentation I would highly recommend it.
