Spring is ‘knocking on the door’ and yet to utterly confuse nature it is freezing outside!
If anyone is concerned regarding this cold spate (one hopes a warmer Spring will urge it’s presence sooner rather than later!) and its effect on our dogs, there is guidance in the table here:

Too cold for my dog, :-\ he is not impressed, cold white stuff coming down from the sky. :o
Normally he is keen to go out, but we only did a small walk , 3 times he put his paw up as if to say there is something under my paw, on inspection there was nothing there, I decided that enough was enough and we came home to have paws washed , back home by the fire. Happy now. 
We haven’t really been out for a couple of days but my dog has spotted a mouse in the yard and wouldn’t come in yesterday. I went and carried her in when I noticed her holding her paws up. She gets so focused on stalking, that she is oblivious to everything else.
